Each week we publish to YouTube (search for lyndaatwow) our WOW Words Of Wisdom. These are 2 - 5 minute tips about Sales, Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Consumer Behaviour.

We’ve been asked to use our Blog to “add” more details about our WOW vignettes. So here they are. But first a bit about us.

Lynda Kavanagh, aka The “WOW” Gal, owns WOW Communications & Training Corp. Since 1994, her company has been providing marketing consultation and training to established businesses but she specializes in helping people start their own businesses. She has offices in Lethbridge and Calgary, Alberta with clients across North America.

So that’s what her passion is during the work day, but for leisure, her passion is riding a bicycle around the world. So you may from time-to-time read about bicycling. (There’s a bit of a story behind this picture of Lynda cycling in the heart of wine country in the Loire Valley, France).

And, there’s a good chance Lynda will add some day-to-day humour about her life as an Business owner and Entrepreneur.

Lynda and D’Arcy own WOW Tours International Inc. a bicycle touring company. By day, D’Arcy is a Journalism instructor and freelance writer, writing for a variety of Canadian and U.S. publications . D’Arcy has been cycling around the world since 1979 when he spent three months in Great Britain and Ireland. After that it became a regular occurrence to find D’Arcy “gallivanting” around the world on the back of a bike.

In the Travel category of this Blog, you can become a sidecar cyclist as D’Arcy shares some information, interesting facts and even some weird occurrance that he has encountered during his travels. (I wonder if he will write about eating eel in the Netherlands? Ugh!)  Lynda and D’Arcy take at least one annual cycling trip a year.
